Home sweet home.

Nope. We haven't move in to our permanent home yet here. Here I would like to share pics of our home back in Malaysia. I love my home in Malaysia. We bought it back in 2006 and it current value now is triple from what it was back then when we buy them. It is so near to hubby office and my workplace too. We did small renovation before we moved in from vietnam, really nothing much just paint job and some minor fixing . Minimal interior decorating . Its quite small though compared to our phu my hung house back in Vietnam. Especially the balcony. The balcony in this changkat home is rather pathethic, lol though due to current situation now of housing trend in Malaysia, we are lucky to even have a decent size balcony at all.

Lifestyle is so different back then in Malaysia. During daytime, i am at my work place, on wekends since we are in Malaysia we spend the weekends with family, balik kampung, visiting siblings houses, i have lots of weekend courses as well. I would say i rarely spend time at home in the day.

Here is my home tada!!!!

Thats the hall. My main color is grey and white. Both chair at the sides is from Vietnam. And I bought the black semi sofa bed kat Malaysia.

Our dining area.

Featuring my thrifty chandelier -- i think its just about Rm80-- beli kat mane?? Ha ha jeng jeng jeng, that you have to PM me.

The hall and dining area again with a different lighting.

So my most favorite moment spent at my Changkat home is in the afternoon after work. After work I will go and pick up Harith first at Sekolah Agama not far from the house. Then we will drive home, sometime I will make a quick stop at groceries store nearby to buy some stuff otherwise we just go straight back home.
-On the initial part of staying here, my vietnamese maid has not arrived yet ( long story) so ibu stays at home and help takes care of Diha while I am working. So after both of us are done with our afternoon prayers, we will sit down for coffee's together. I will usually bring home 'kuih' that i bought from work, ( either buy them in the morning at various kuih stall around the hospitals, or order pulut panggang from my clinic staff) ibu loves pulut pangang and we will sit together chatting and enjoyed the coffee and savory. I really cherished this beautiful chit chatting over coffee moment with my mom.
-when my maid has arrived, i will arrive home to bouncy , done dinner and bath kids, and all i have to do is took my bath, pray then bring my coffee and dinner( light snacks) to the tv sit with my kids and watch my favorite show 'House Hunter International'. -----dreamy look----yes i miss those little beautiful moments in life.

Its might not looking much guys, but this is the glimpse of the best moments of my life ( as a working mom) the smell of arriving home from work----dreamy look---. I love to arrive home to my kids. I miss them everyday at work.

Then , upon realizing that I am home, they will start come running and bouncing as happy as their sappy mommy. --laugh---. Yes ummi ni senti sket ye.

For the rest of the house..

Across the hall dining area, there is this corridor where all the rooms and bathroom door is situated, the condo is set to give some privacy to the rooms this way.

Above my friend is the picture of corridor from pinterest that I use as my inspiration for my corridor. Same tak???? Hehehehe, bole la kan.

The rooms

If you notice at the side of my dressing table, the structure holding my husband's tie and my scarf is jeng jeng jeng ... The kids baby court side railing!!!. Creative recycling.

My room. Thats my favorite bedlinen from vietnam. I love the colors and the beautiful handmade work.

Diha's room. Somehow i have more pics of the kids rooms. I'll add more when i found them.

My small dry and wet kitchen. Back in Malaysia, i rarely cook or bake though. I am so spoil in Malaysia, so many good food doorstep away. ---Sheepish smile---. (Pemalas masak kaw ni, bukan malas tak pandai je )

Last but not least or actually least is my small balcony, enough for abah to sit and smoke his 'fresh air'. I do sit out sometimes having coffee with hubby while marveling at KL traffic.

Overall, we always love the convenience of our beautiful little house, because its near to our workplace. though I realize it started to feel more and more crampy inside. I pity the kids, having not much space to run around. They cant even run downstairs to play at the small playground at the club house as well in view of safety issue in Malaysia. Plus due to my work, I rarely do any craft or lesson activities with the kids.

Memories of living a year in Malaysia in between posting is still a beautiful one leaving much for me to remember and cherished. The family we go back to, the people i got to know while back to work, the things i relearn to be a good and doctor, and many more.

Our first day in Toronto

Upon arrival at the hotel which is already so late at night, we manage to get a good night sleep. In the morning rise and shine all of us get ready to follow hubby to work. Its just walking distance from the hotel.

I was like go so 'jakun' .hahahahhaha. Its so different, the weather, the buildings, the colours of all things. Back in Malaysia everything is so vibrant, its due to our sunny weather but here all seems few shades lighter but in a nice way.

Its mostly fully glass buildings. Its beautiful.

At around noon, we went back home to rest. Still feeling jet lag, we all dozed off in the aftrenoon. Our time zone different is exactly 12 hours from Malaysia, therefor at 12noon its aproximately 12 midnight in Malaysia and we all are feeling so sleepy by that time. Surprisingly though abah is all ok. You can continue working darling we all nak balik tido. Saye kan tak keje hahahhahah. It took us about a week jugakla to adjust. Lame kaw haaa.

This is some of the picture of our hotel room.

The hall.

The pantry. I do cook there.

The master room.

Jacuzzi in the toilet. All mandi time the kids berendam in them.

The city view from our room.

That is hubby office , view from our hotel room. So dekat kan.

Malaysia-London-Toronto

Hubby got posted again yeay!!! Boleh dok rumah mengadap diha ( very ambitious girl i am) . I do love my current work at HKL. I love my job. Love seeing my patient, talk to them about their problem, sometimes they will tell me about their lives, their work , truth be told i've learn't a lot from my patient. And I love  my colleague, they are such a great team. Maybe later i will write one special post about my work.

For now i better write this post before i've forgotten everything about it, its been almost a month!!!

So this is a story of our grand journey to our new home for the next 4 yrears Toronto, Canada.

Our flight is a late night flight at 1145 pm on Sunday the 9th August 2015 with MAS A380 yeay!!!!

Family and friends who came to send us off.

Beloved sista's

Thats an epic pics, taken by our family member . I have the same one just like this the day we went off to vietnam before. Its nostalgic to see old pictures and seing ourselves then and now.

Yep, thats the photo of us traveling to vietnam. At that time ibu ikot skali to help me settle down ( its near kan lol) .

Some of our picture in the plane. My first time in A380 .

Its a long 12h journey to London( yep we transit in London for 12h). We arrive in London at 830am on Monday 10th August 2015.

Dah sampai!!!At the heathrow airport.

In London, we took a bus tour around the city. The weather is perfect. Alhamdulillah.

The city is just soooo classic. It gorgeous.

I've forgotten what building this is, all around the city there's a lot of this simmilar looking building.

The bus took us 4 time across different bridges along river thames. Across London bridge, Tower bridge and ummm,...other bridges.

The big ben.

London eye.
The tower bridge which my children even Diha insist as a London bridge, and Diha even started to sing the London Bridge song. Lol. Its really hilarious.

Thats our bus route around the city. 4 hours of bliss. The weather is sunny but not warm, very cool and breezy. We all enjoyed this trip.

Since we had only few hours to spare we just stayed in the bus the whole 4h trip around London city. There is an English  speaking tour guide which is very informative ( more if I manage to understand her accent fully lol) . But its was well worth it. I've fallen in love with this beautiful city. I've been here once about 12 years ago when i was a medical student , visiting my friends and to be here again with my hubby and 3 children is just ovewhelming.

Once the tour finishes we rush back to the airport to catch our flight to Toronto. Its another 8 hour long flight. Our plane depart from London at 6pm on the same Monday and are scheduled to arrive at 8pm on the same day. There is some delay in departing and we finally arrive at Toronto at 930 pm Alhamdulillah.

Kids at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Tired. Upon arrival, my husband office staff are all waiting, so nice of them. They have arrange our transportation to the hotel.

The mighty cars that manage to fit us with all our 8 large luggage, and few small handcarry bags and stroller.

Its was such a long journey, we were all so relieved and glad once we finally arrived. Its a total of 20h flight time, 32h of journey. Nonetheless we enjoyed them tremendously. I am so thankful to Allah for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime to be in this other part of the world. Alhamdulillah. Will share more of our days here. InsyaAllah.

Waking up to a very heavy snowy morning, while our guide are upset with the snowy weather we are rather excited experiencing snow fall.

Us after breakfast playing in the snow next to our hotel.

Hi hi happy girl.

Today is again filled with many snow activities at the park, the kids love it. Our guide took us hiking in the snow with a special snow hiking boots. To the park.

The picture failed to capture the beautiful scenery of the snowfilled mountains ahead.

My snow hiking boots.

We also had picnic at the park inside an igloo in the snowpark, then afterwards we went to learn skiing.

Harith on the snow bike.

Posing dengan penuh semangat. With our skiing gear. At this point thinking senang je kot, lepas ni bole skii from high up the mountain. Fat chance, susah giler weiii!!!

Takde gaya.

Ni baru ade gaya walaupon x gerak.

Abis main snow we went to kolam air panas. Rendam kaki je.

At night is just rest time, hot bubble bath and halal dinner prepared specially for us at the hotel.

Ye, makanan ini adalah sebenarnye makanan asal tradisi di nipon. Tu yang kite makan beria.lol

16 Feb 2015
Going back to tokyo today, uuuu that is sad. But first we are gonna go around nagano.

Family post outside hotel.

We went to see the winter olympic place in 1998.

The ski jumping area.

Behind is the long slide for the ski jump, and it is sooooooooo gayat.

We took a ride on a cable car to the top of nagano mountains, the views from the viewing point is breathtaking.

The reason why we all look like that is because of the sunlight right across. So cringe!!!

We had special japan traditional lunch at one of the local restaurant.

Then we went and see the wasabi farm.

Thats how a wasabi plant looks like.

Back to tokyo by train.

17/18/19 Feb 2015.

The rest of our trip is spent going around tokyo metropolis. We went to tomica factory, tokyo tower, boat cruise around the city and shopping.

Tokyo tower. Weeeeee

The city from our viewing point.

Us lining up to be on the boat cruise.

Us inside the boat.

At tomica factory choosing for car parts to be assembled.

Going around town at night.
